Distributing HTML Help Files

When you have compiled the final version of your help project, usually all you need to distribute with your application is the resulting HTML Help (.CHM) file (for example, "MyHelpFile.chm").

In some cases you also need to distribute video files (AVI, WMV, MPG) together with the CHM file. Please refer to this help topic for more information.

An HTML Help (.CHM) file is completely stand-alone and can be displayed practically on all the computers using the Microsoft® Windows operation system.

Please refer to this topic for more information where HelpSmith puts the final .CHM file.
